As the Director of Maintenance at HeliFlite, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the maintenance operations for our fleet of helicopters. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the airworthiness and safety of our aircraft, managing maintenance personnel, and implementing efficient maintenance practices to support our flight operations. The Director of Maintenance is directly responsible to the Chief Maintenance Officer. The DOMrsquo;s responsibility to exercise Operational Control, with respect to Operations Specifications A008, is limited to airworthiness issues only. The DOM directly supervises all maintenance and inspections of the Company aircraft.
Specific duties are as follows:

Training and assisting his/her department personnel in the procedures, methods and practices to be followed in each respective duty, and will assure that all maintenance technicians will be adequately qualified prior to assigning them to any maintenance function.
Maintaining all equipment, tools and facilities in serviceable and working condition.
Making available to all the overhaul manuals, service bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, and any other required technical data.
Properly execute all necessary work records.
Initiate requisitions for stock and material inventory control
Manage all aircraft maintenance activities including
Coordinate with maintenance contracting agencies
Closely monitor all parts and service warranty paperwork
Coordinate with scheduling dispatch
Maintain the Companyrsquo;s MEL for each aircraft.
Maintain weight and balance records of the aircraft and updating programs.
Actively involved in the recruiting and hiring process for open positions within the maintenance department.
