This job is for our facility in Torrance CA.
Sheet Metal Mechanics assembles helicopters and its sub-assemblies using a variety of tools in accordance with manufacturing procedures and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA
Ability to assemble helicopters and its sub-assemblies with pneumatic tools, hand tools, drill presses, sheet metal rollers, stationary foot shears, and band saws
Familiarity and competency with measuring tools such as torque wrenches, scales, and calipers used in the manufacturing process to meet blueprint
Perform trimming , forming, aligning, mating, fitting, and straightening on sheet metal and fiberglass.
Basic knowledge of precision drilling, and installation of rivets and fasteners
