As a former Coast Guard HH-3F AC, I enjoyed this article. I think it’s accurately descriptive and well-written, and it awards credit where it’s due. Every Coast Guard Air Station presents its own challenges, sometimes very different from other locations, and San Fran is a good example of that. I’m always encouraged by the astonishing fact that the Coast Guard continues, year in and year out, to attract, train and utilize some of the finest young people to be found anywhere, and never fails to endlessly exceed its own standards.

The situation could easily be overcome if the CEOs of all Canadian Helicopter companies would talk to their Governors, Senators, Lawmakers or what have you demanding the approval of say 500 to 1000 work permits for highly trained and experienced European helicopter pilots of which a lot are willing to leave the old world behind and work in Canada or the US.
If you can’t get it done on the big scale, help individual pilots getting a visa.

This is great for Lexie Janson! However, this statement is not correct: “Janson will soon be the first pilot in the world to fly two eVTOL aircraft.” There have previous pilots who have flown more than one type of eVTOL aircraft (remotely or sitting in it), including at least three who have flown different company’s aircraft: Dr. Martine Rothblatt (Tier 1 and Beta), Thomas Senkel (Volocopter and eMagic) and Justin Paines (Joby and Vertical Aviation). Regarding the picture with the caption “The recovered wreckage of Wetzler’s MH-65 Dolphin”: I do believe that the depicted airframe is definitely not a MH-65, due to the skids and the tail boom/tail rotor design. It appears to me to be a picture of a Bell 206 wreckage.

It’s my deepest sympathy that I hear the passing of Mr frank Robinson its so long since I worked for Mr. Robinson and his group of riveted that put together his company when I worked for him many thanks and my prayers go out to him and his family im so sorry for your loss if there’s anything me and my wife or family or friends. If you need a priest to pray at his funeral just post the time of he’s buried ill take care of his blessing as he’s sets his journey with his holy one on his soul will be sent to heaven God bless him for his many accomplishments in his era of his time here on earth im sure he had his loved ones close by I only ask that you leave a comment on his passing im sure you’d understand on working for a great man of his time God bless him and his family.tell we meet in heaven again .
